Common questions about messaging, status, the marketplace, and staying secure on awpa.
Text, voice notes, photos, videos, and documents, all sent instantly. You can also react to a message, reply directly to it, or forward it to someone else.
Yes. You can minimize an active voice or video call and keep browsing or messaging without hanging up.
You choose: the standard 24 hours, or you can extend it to 3 days or a full week.
You control this. A status can be visible to your full contact list, or only to the specific people you choose.
Admins can manage who can post in a group and who can be added, keeping the conversation on track.
A group is a shared conversation where everyone can see and reply to each other. A broadcast is one-way: a business sends a single update to every follower, and each reply comes back to the business privately, not into a shared thread.
When a buyer pays for a listed product, the payment is held by awpa rather than sent straight to the seller. It's only released to the seller once the buyer confirms the product was delivered.
Either the buyer or the seller can open a dispute before the held payment is released. awpa reviews the dispute and decides how the payment is handled.
It's a paid option that extends a status update's reach beyond your existing followers for as long as the update is live.
Not yet. Messages travel over a secure, encrypted connection between your device and our servers, which protects them from interception in transit, but this isn't the same as end-to-end encryption. We want to be exact about that distinction.
Once a business account passes a certain follower threshold, awpa reviews the account before granting the badge. It isn't automatic and it can't be purchased.
