About us
awpa started from a simple observation: most buying and selling already happens inside chat. We're building the tools to make that safer, faster, and easier to run a business on.
Long before there was an app for it, people were closing sales in message threads: sending a photo of a product, agreeing a price, and figuring out payment and delivery as they went. awpa is built around that reality rather than against it. Instead of asking businesses to leave the conversation to use a separate storefront or payment tool, we brought those tools into the conversation itself.
We're a small, early-stage team. awpa is still growing, and every feature so far, messaging, calls, status, groups, the marketplace, and verification, has been shaped by watching how people actually message and trade day to day.
Our focus now is getting the core experience right: reliable messaging, a marketplace people trust, and business tools that are genuinely useful rather than gimmicky. As awpa grows, we'll keep building around the same idea: business shouldn't require switching apps.
